Meredith Barr, LMT
Signature Integrated Massage Practitioner
Meredith Barr, LMT and owner/operator of Integrative Massage of Peachtree City has had the honor of observing her clients and their body's responses to various modalities of massage for over 13 years. Having been educated at ASHA, the "Harvard of Massage Schools," she was trained in Sports, Swedish, and Neuromuscular Therapy.
While each of these individual modalities serve to heal the body in their own way, there are techniques unique to each of them that address the very specific needs of clients. Perhaps a client is stressed and needs the soothing and relaxing strokes of a Swedish massage but is also sore from a recent 10k and needs a full body stretch. Perhaps another client suffers from chronic back pain and needs neuromuscular therapy to help realign the hips and low back but in addition wants cupping to improve circulation. Another client may have a highly physical job and is in need of deep tissue work but also has a nagging old knee injury with built up scare tissue and needs myofascial work to make space for greater range of motion. Whatever the combiation, there is a specialized theraputic treatment for each client based on their specific needs. The Signature Integrated Massage is by far the most specialized and theraputic service offered.
